Bob was not a shy or quite guy, but he appeared to be. Kind and adventureous. He joined the airforce while in high school at west and ended up at the airforce base in Phoenix, AZ as a technician on T-38's and other fighter planes. He started his own landscapping business in Phoenix and retired to Casa Grande, AZ at age 50 to start a racing team that ran the "modified" cars (one step below NASCAR). Kept two cars on the track and traveled the southwest with the trailers to race at many other venues. Tried to get Danica Patrick, who lives in Phoenix, to drive/sponser one of his cars (thought she might enjoy practicing her driving while in the off season)

He always was there for his friends to lend a hand. You came to town, you did not stay anywhere except his home at his insisitence; and could he cook. He will be missed by many...RIP

I remeber being on the gynastics team with Bob. He was short and built like a fire plug and I was tall and skinny. Coach Gialombardo would yell at us. When Bob moved to Phoenix, I was at ASU and we reconnected. Great Guy. RIP
